UCA researchers (David Gómez-Ullate, Daniel Precioso and Leopoldo Gutiérrez) have developed a model able to simulate and predict the bed occupancy of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds by patients ill with COVID-19. Their results are published online and are updated on a daily basis, using publicly available information from Andalusian hospitals.
