As a continuation of the idea presented at the Ocean Hackathon 2020, UCA Datalab has teamed up with researchers at ETSI Navales in the Polytechnical University of Madrid and the Institute of Marine Engineering in Rome to launch the Smart Shipping project. The goal of this project is to explore alternative marine routes to the standard ones taking into account currents, sea waves and other meteorological and oceanographic information.
