Dr. Patricia Ruiz is a tenured lecturer at University of Cádiz. She obtained her PhD degree in Computer Science at the University of Luxembourg in 2013, and the Telecommunication Engineering degree at the University of Málaga in 2009. She earned the Spanish national award by Telefónica foundation for the best master thesis in 2010. She worked for several european projects (funded with several million euros) at the Public Research Center in Luxembourg and the University of Luxembourg in the context of Intelligent Transportation Systems. In 2015, she also earned a Juan de la Cierva – Formación grant by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness. Her main research areas include dynamic networks, data visualization and optimization techniques. She is IP of several national and international projects. Moreover, she serves as external expert reviewer of H2020 for the Research Executive Agency (REA) of the European Commission.
