Jorge Johanny Sáenz
Microelectronics
Jorge Sáenz received a B.Sc. degree in Electronic Engineering from Universidad Industrial de Santander, Colombia in 2009 and a M.Sc. in Microelectronics from the University of São Paulo, Brazil in 2012. He is currently a Ph.D. student in University of Cádiz, Spain. His main research interests are design methodologies for analog/mixed signal Integrated Circuits (ICs), image sensors, design of radiation hardened and ultra-low power circuits, security circuits for (Internet of Things) IoT and Electronic Design Automatization (EDA) tools. Currently, he is focusing on developing advanced image sensors for electron microscopy (EM) using neuromorphic protocols which reducing data redundancy and enabling higher effective transmission rates.
