Angel is Computer Engineer, Ms.c in Software Engineering and got his PhD in Information and Communication Technologies at the University of Granada, with a research work about telemonitoring platforms (wearables, eHealth, cloud computing). He was a research visitor at the University of Geneva through a grant funded by a COST Action,  and postdoctoral researcher at University College London (UCL) as part of the PETRAS project (Internet of Things Research Hub), working in IoT for smartbuildings. He has been working with private companies as well as public entities as software engineer. He has several publications in international conferences, journals and books and also is occasional reviewer in several conferences and journals. Currently, he is a researcher at University of Cadiz working on Industry 4.0 projects with Airbus Space & Defense to apply IoT to smart factories.
